Our client, a renowned civil engineering contractor, is seeking to appoint a permanent Site Agent to support the delivery of one of their flagship renewable energy projects, based on the Isle of Skye. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on a high-profile development.
As the Site Agent, you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the project. You will have a strong background in civil engineering, with demonstrable experience in managing and delivering complex projects across various sectors. Experience in site management is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards and company procedures are adhered to.
Planning, organising, and managing all on-site labour and resources effectively.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required client specification.
Maintaining accurate site records and registers.
Overseeing the implementation of company safety procedures and standards across the site.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with on-site personnel, contractors, and clients.
Key Requirements:
HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering.
Proven experience as a Site Agent managing civil engineering projects.
Previous experience on working on substation would be advantageous.
A thorough understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.
A methodical and organised approach to work, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Possession of a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel as required.
