Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a school in South Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working in schools who is passionate about supporting students' learning and development.
Start date: Monday 24th February 2025
Responsibilities:
* Supporting students with their learning, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
* Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
* Providing additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or those who require extra help to achieve their full potential.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Helping with classroom management and behaviour support when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a school setting is essential.
* A passion for education and supporting young people.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* A patient and nurturing approach to learning support.
* Enhanced DBS check and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
