In this role, you will work autonomously during shifts while reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader. Your expertise will ensure the efficient maintenance and installation of all electrical plant and machinery. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and install electrical plant and machinery per company standards. Quickly diagnose and repair electrical issues on-site. Execute a planned preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment. Ensure all machinery is kept in a safe, clean, and operational condition. Interrogate and troubleshoot PLC equipment (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens). Complete all administrative tasks related to maintenance activities accurately and promptly. Report equipment and machinery issues to the Engineering Team Leader or Coordinator. Adhere to company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. Promote Lean thinking and seek opportunities for efficiency improvements. Communicate effectively across departments. Utilize a CMMS system (e.g., Agility) to manage maintenance work requests. Work efficiently and independently without supervision. Experience Required: Strong knowledge and experience in fault finding and repairs to industrial controls and systems. Ability to read and understand PLC logic and troubleshoot effectively. Proficiency with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs). Capable of interpreting schematic drawings. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Creative thinking and innovative approach to challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Minimum Qualifications: Time-served indentured apprenticeship or equivalent. IET Wiring Regulations certification. Relevant qualifications in electrical/electronics. Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment. Ability to provide references. Benefits: Competitive weekly pay (4 weekly pay schedule).
