Aspire People is seeking Day-to-Day Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Swadlincote. This is a great opportunity for individuals with classroom-based experience who are looking for flexible work with the possibility of 1-2 days per week.
About the Role
Position: Cover Supervisor
Location: Swadlincote
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Flexible - 1-2 days a week availability
Teaching Levels: Key Stage 3, 4, and occasionally Key Stage 5
Responsibilities
Delivering pre-planned lessons left by the class teacher and ensuring students remain engaged and focused during the lesson.
Requirements
1. Have classroom-based experience (such as a teaching assistant or similar role).
2. Be comfortable working with Key Stage 3, 4, and sometimes 5 students.
3. Have excellent classroom management skills and be able to maintain a positive learning environment.
4. Be available to work 1-2 days per week.
5. A driving license is preferred but not essential if you are comfortable using public transport.
