We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic band 5 registered nurse to our small inpatient team within Cowal Community Hospital.
We care for patients who are admitted acutely from casualty, planned transfers from GG&C for rehabilitation and complex discharge planning. We also provide palliative and end of life care. Our focus is delivering person centred care, working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team.
There is opportunity to develop skills and knowledge. Post registration experience is desirable, but not essential.
Dunoon is a small picturesque town on the Cowal Peninsula which sits on the West Coast of Scotland, an area of outstanding natural beauty yet close to cosmopolitan cities such as Glasgow and Edinburgh. Argyll has over 3,500km of stunning coastline and is home to many inhabited and uninhabited islands.
The opportunities to enjoy a healthy outdoor lifestyle in the area are almost endless and our family orientated communities and excellent schools offer a great place to bring up children.
Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
