An excellent opportunity has arisen for an individual who would like to develop their knowledge and skills as a nurse specialist in breast care.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a registered nurse. It is desirable that the successful candidate will have a current knowledge and experience of cancer pathways and tumour specific knowledge of breast cancer would be advantageous.
You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to facilitate complex discussions with patients and their families. You will be able to demonstrate informed decision making skills and have an understanding of managing your own caseload and effective team working. There is a requirement to participate in ongoing teaching and audit programmes.
Essential requirements
* Registered nurse
* Relevant clinical experience
* Post registration education in specialist field
* Educated at a minimum of graduate certificate (honours degree) level in an appropriate subject (relevant to speciality of care), although a post graduate certificate is recommended.
