Great that you're thinking about a career with BSI Job Title: People Relations Partner - EMEA Location: Milton Keynes/Chiswick - Hybrid Working About the role As a People Relations Partner, you will implement the strategy and operational plans that strengthen compliance, improve the people experience and case management, including high quality investigations and ensure consistency of employment related outcomes in your region. This newly formed role will support all businesses across each region (EMEA/Americas/Asia Pacific). Success in the role is largely attributed to your depth of subject matter expertise in region as well as ability to operate as a global team. Responsibilities: Implement strategic approach and sustainable operational plans. Deliver proactive flow of legal information, insights and interpretation from trusted external experts into your region. Advise and support on organisation design and change including mergers, acquisitions, divestments and restructuring balancing commercial needs with our legal and regulatory obligations. Implements regular calendar of interventions for education and skills building in their region. As part of the People Relations Team, collaborates with Centres of Excellence to best leverage existing and new training/learning programmes and annual cycles. Works as part of the People Relations Team to develop and maintain a readily accessible suite of core documentation and artefacts. Delivers targets for reducing number of people relations cases, implementation of solutions such as Early Intervention Framework. Oversees all people relations cases in region, working directly with Investigating Managers. Operationalise the end-to-end infrastructure for case management for robust case management, governance, and reporting. Monitor and analyse case management data to identify themes, recommend and implement agreed areas for improvement. Proactive management of the collective employee relations landscape, specifically Works Councils in Europe. Demonstrable track record of high-volume case management in all locations. Key Performance Indicators Advises and supports managers on conducting people relations cases as a specialist across the region. Delivers global people relations strategy including local impact and management of Works Councils/unions where appropriate. Delivers local Early Resolution Framework and people plan initiatives within region. Maintains the People Relations dashboard for the region. Help drive reduction in people relations cases aligned to target. Develop and deliver local training to Investigation Managers, People Team and other stakeholders as required. Effective management of people relations processes and events within the region, across the people calendar. To be successful in the role, you will have: Demonstratable experience within a previous People Relations role. Detailed understanding of Employment Law within your region. Thorough understanding of employee engagement models. Ability to create and maintain new policies, processes, systems. Experience dealing with Works Councils, Unions and Employee Forums. Excellent prioritisation & organisation skills. Data analysis / numeracy skills. Exceptional stakeholder management skills. Ability to work at scale, establish root cause and deliver sustainable solutions. Additional language skills desirable.
