About the role:
In this varied role you'll partner with managers across our Operations team to recruit talent for our office locations (UK/US) as well as supporting our volume retail hiring for our onboard crew at peak times.
You'll also contribute and take the lead on various projects (including large scale changes planned this year to our attraction and assessment processes) to improve our offering as a team, for both managers and candidates. This is a great time to join us, as we build our new HR strategy with Talent Acquisition as a core focus.
Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis, you’ll be in the office at least 2 days/week.
Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 26 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown)
What you will be doing:
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including writing job adverts, sourcing, screening, facilitation of interviews and offer management.
* Leverage various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to find and attract high-quality candidates.
* Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and deliver strong shortlists.
* Assess candidates for role and culture suitability in initial screening conversations.
* Facilitate interviews and ensure an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
* Drive initiatives to attract diverse talent and ensure an inclusive hiring process.
* Track and analyse key recruitment metrics to optimise hiring processes.
* Contribute/lead Talent and HR projects to continually improve our offering.
About you:
* Proven experience in a generalist talent acquisition/recruitment role, ideally within an internal or RPO setting.
* A solid understanding of best practice volume recruitment with experience hiring across retail, hospitality or similar (recruiting across multiple nationalities would also be highly advantageous).
* Expertise in a variety of sourcing techniques to engage top talent.
* Excellent communication skills, with a natural ability to build relationships with those around you.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Familiarity with using an ATS (we use Talos).
* A passion for delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
* Confidence and drive to suggest and implement process improvements.
* Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK.
