Working with industry, market participants, government departments, the regulatory authorities, and European market operators Identify initiatives to support the business readiness for future market development and engage with external stakeholders to influence and shape policy through data led analysis Collaborate with operations, planning, and networks and innovation teams Document new methodologies, assumptions, and findings Lead, execute and report on projects, both technical and/or commercial, which are designed to achieve regulated targets and meet stakeholder needs in line with the networks and innovation directorate. The successful candidate will have: Relevant third level qualification, relevant experience in a challenging commercial environment Proven track record in managing a team, and managing resources Demonstrable ability to manage people and resource allocation in large scale projects. Thorough understanding of Power Markets design and operation Ability to carry out technology reviews, draft technical specifications and develop business requirements Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify system issues and propose effective solutions through analysis.
