We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, six restaurants and over 60 onsite activities- there really is something for everyone! About the Role This role is to Manage our team of porters to make sure everything is running smoothly. That means you'll update function sheets, to check for any last-minute changes, and follow up, by making sure the room set ups are "just what our guest has ordered". As well as that, you'll be hands on, meeting and greeting our guests as you help them unload their luggage, making them feel they're in capable hands. So, you really are the welcoming face of the business. Among other things, you'll carry bags from cars to guest accommodation, set up rooms and equipment for conferences and move furniture. You will be organising customers collections and drop offs from airports or train stations as well as offering on resort transport. In other down time you will be responsable for cleaning the vehciles inside and out weekly as well as liasing with the transport manager on repairs of the vehicles. We have staff accommodation for our team members too, so you'll help us with the running and upkeep of the rooms. What we need from you: Ideally, you'll have previous management experience in a customer service role. You'll certainly have some track record of leading small teams. A keen eye for detail is a must. As you'll drive our guests on and off the Estate, you'll be over 21 with a clean driver's licence. Hours will include evenings and weekends between the hours of 06.00 and 01:00 depending on the needs of the business. What you'll get from us
