Stantec makes communities more resilient through smarter asset management.
Our Asset Management Team has a significant track record of successful delivery across asset-intensive sectors. We support our clients to help them drive performance and realize financial, social, environmental/natural, and intellectual value from their assets. We do this by working with clients in a collaborative environment to provide strategic, resilient, and innovative solutions to their performance issues.
Our continued success in supporting many of the UK’s main Energy and utility providers and major infrastructure developers brings significant growth across the group. As a result, we are looking to appoint Asset Inspections Surveyors into our Advisory Services team to support work on the Sellafield site project.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for delivery of condition assessment and inspections of assets at Sellafield.
2. Assist in developing asset registers and enable future development of condition-based monitoring, relevant maintenance activities (preventative/predictive/planned), asset criticality, capital investment, and environmental impact assessment/strategies.
3. Become involved in other Stantec-wide design and delivery projects across all disciplines.
4. Assist with other asset management related consultancy tasks within the team as required.
About You:
You will have experience operating and maintaining assets, with a good working knowledge of engineering plants and equipment, and an understanding of the applicable building services standards and structures. Prior experience using mobile surveying software and reporting tools is beneficial.
You will have experience of working with client relationships at an operational level, with a sound knowledge of current legislation, technical standards, and codes of practice.
An awareness of using CMMS and CAFM systems is desirable, with a significant understanding of health and safety in an operational environment, including adhering to risk assessments. Working towards a NEBOSH/IOSH qualification is also desirable.
As this is a site-based role, you must be able to travel to the Sellafield site 5 days per week.
