Our client. specialising in roofing, cladding, rainscreen and envelope solutions, based near Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire. With over 20 years’ experience of the construction industry, they partner with clients from inception to completion of projects worth up to £4million. They are looking to appoint a new Site Manager, to deliver cladding and roofing projects across the country.
Experience in installing and managing a range of roofing systems such as composite, built up fully supported, flat roofing systems and façade systems is required.
Job Description
1. Managing various aspects of roofing and cladding façade projects (generally 1 or 2 projects at a time), including all types of composite and built up systems/rain screens
2. Liaising with design team and discussing issues and amendments to drawings required.
3. Arranging for subcontractors to price works and obtaining suitable RAMS
4. Organising, supervising and training subcontractors and employed cladders on site – Ensuring on site labour are making adequate progress and closing out any reported defects noted as/when required.
5. Producing programmes as required for subcontractors, internal progress monitoring and client reporting.
6. Producing daily and weekly progress, safety and quality reports for your projects.
7. Producing RAMS and issuing them to all those on site, ensuring they are fully understood and adhered to at all times.
8. Carrying out toolbox talks.
Requirements
9. You must hold a UK driving license
10. Qualifications should include CSCS Card
11. Other qualifications such as SSSTS or SMSTS, IPAF, First Aid, CPCS Slinger Signaller, PASMA, RAMS training, Working at Heights, are preferable.
