Application Support Engineer, Software Support Engineer
Our client is a profitable and rapidly expanding Software House. They are looking for a Software Support Engineer / Application Support Engineer to join their busy Software Support team. Full training in the client’s software will be provided as well as formal SQL qualifications & certifications. Hours are 9-5, Monday – Friday (no shift work).
Location: Leicestershire area
Skills Required:
1. Previous experience of working in an Application Software Support / Customer Support role
2. Experience in call logging and dealing with 1st-3rd Line Software Support issues
3. Experience in working within a similar environment such as Enterprise, CRM, or Financial software
4. Good SQL Server, T-SQL, the ability to write scripts and interrogate databases
5. Software implementation – remote and onsite
6. Some understanding of how programming works
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Salary: Competitive starting salary of 32K and benefits.
You must be able to pass a pre-employment screening due to the nature of my client’s customers.
