My client are a FCA-regulated consumer credit motor finance firm looking for a Remediation Specialist to join their team on a 6 month basis and play a pivotal role in monitoring and improving customer outcomes.
Role Overview:
As a Remediation Specialist, you will conduct thorough customer file reviews, including communications (calls, emails, and messages), to assess whether customer accounts are being managed in compliance with FCA principles, rules, and guidance. Your work will contribute to driving fairness, transparency, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse customer files and related interactions to evaluate adherence to regulatory standards and assess customer outcomes.
* Provide clear, data-backed insights and actionable recommendations based on findings.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with FCA standards and best practices.
* Present findings objectively and professionally to stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate documentation for case tracking and ongoing improvements.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Analytical & Decision-Making: Strong attention to detail and ability to remain objective.
* Communication: Exceptional writing and listening skills to convey findings effectively.
* Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of FCA principles, particularly PRIN, CONC, Consumer Duty, and vulnerable customer guidance.
* Organisation: Excellent time management and record-keeping skills.
Preferred Background:
* Experience in quality assurance or compliance monitoring, ideally within an FCA-regulated environment.
* Familiarity with motor finance, regulated collections, and vulnerable customer support standards.
