An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a visionary leader to join our pioneering Imaging Infrastructure Support Service (IISS), a ground-breaking collaboration between the NHS and Siemens.
We are pushing the boundaries of healthcare technology, providing cutting-edge managed equipment services including design, build, and strategic capital planning.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to spearhead the delivery of two major strategic programmes for the Trust. In this senior leadership role, you will be at the helm during a period of rapid growth and transformation, guiding high-impact capital equipment projects. These include a nationally recognised Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), making this role critical in shaping the future of diagnostic services.
This is a two-year fixed-term position, offering the perfect secondment opportunity for a driven individual eager to make a lasting impact. You will lead a comprehensive service review, focusing on restructuring IISS to ensure its sustainability for years to come. For an ambitious leader, this role is an excellent stepping stone toward more senior roles in healthcare management and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Oversee the successful delivery of capital equipment programmes, with an annual budget of £10-11 million.
Community Diagnostic Centre: Provide strategic direction to the nationally recognised CDC programme, collaborating across the Southampton and Southwest Hampshire network.
Programme Management: Independently manage large-scale projects, ensuring delivery within financial constraints, and aligning outcomes with Trust’s strategic goals.
Financial & Operational Oversight: Compile business plans, manage resources, oversee multiple projects, and ensure performance targets are met.
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with our Managed Equipment Partner (MEP) to coordinate activities and drive project success.
We’re looking for an ambitious and innovative leader with a proven track record of successfully delivering capital projects within healthcare or a related industry. You should have exceptional leadership skills, be comfortable navigating complex project landscapes, and bring a strategic mindset to the table.
