Job Title: Service Desk Engineer
Job Summary:
Hamilton Barnes is seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to join our IT services team. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Technical Assistance: Assist clients with PC and laptop hardware issues, ensuring smooth operation of systems.
* Support IT Systems: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, as well as Microsoft 365 and associated services.
* Network Security: Use security tools like AV/EDR, spam filtering, and web filtering to safeguard systems and data.
* Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service in a client-facing role, responding to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
Requirements:
* Strong IT Knowledge: Expertise in PC and laptop hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
* Windows Operating Systems: Hands-on experience with Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems.
* Microsoft 365 Support: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 support.
* Security Skills: Familiarity with security tools, such as AV/EDR, spam filtering, and web filtering.
* Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with customers.
