Senior Fundraising & Communications Officer Full time role – 35 hours a week THE ROLE As Senior Fundraising & Engagement Officer, you will be instrumental in supporting income generation, marketing, and communications. You will ensure those outside Restore have opportunities to Get Support (access recovery services and information), Give Support (donate and contribute), and Get Involved (participate in community events and fundraising initiatives). Reporting to the Head of Fundraising & Communications, the role demands exceptional organisational skills, interpersonal abilities, and a strong commitment to mental health advocacy. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, including volunteers, service users and external partners, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, and capable of both independent and team-based work. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a respected community charity, driving engagement and income to support those on their recovery journey. YOUR BACKGROUND The ideal candidate will be experienced in fundraising and marketing, well-organised, capable of planning and coordinating events, adept at forming and maintaining relationships with companies and community groups, and skilled at supporter stewardship. They should be confident in public speaking, passionate about tackling mental health stigma, and enthusiastic about engagement and income generation. Strong research, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential, along with IT literacy, and knowledge of data protection. Your Skills and Experience - T he successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they meet the following criteria below. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or communications. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. A proactive and creative approach to fundraising and engagement.
