Senior Revit Technician Role, Salary up to £55K

They are seeking an experienced Senior Revit/CADTechnician to join their growing London team. This is a great opportunity tojoin a well-established organisation that can offer you access and support toaid your learning and development, while working in high end projects. You willbe expected to be at the forefront of project delivery, working through theRIBA stages as well as working as part of a larger team. The office has arelaxed, flexible culture and regular social events take place.
Your new role
You'll play a key part in the BIM team. Your keyresponsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring an understanding of project briefs.
2. Design and specification of all M&E systems
3. Carry out the production of detailed design and calculations using industry standard software tools including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Solidworks, etc.
4. Preparing technical specifications.
5. Being at the forefront of the BIM team to prepare models and drawings.
6. Representing the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors.
7. Report and technical note writing.
8. Adherence to all quality, environmental & governance processes.
9. Managing own workload, updating forward plan of workload regularly and working to time allocations.
10. Managing elements of project delivery and an understanding of budget costings.
11. Reviewing progress, including reporting any anomalies and changes of scope to the project lead.
12. Assist with technical development of junior staff.
What you'll need to succeed
13. Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification on related subject.
14. Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools - AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Solidworks, etc.
15. Awareness of building physics principles.
16. Experience of working in a design consultancy and/or some experience of working within a contractor design environment is beneficial.
17. Good knowledge of appropriate technical standards.
18. Able to take charge of personal project deliverables, make decisions on developing the discipline design elements, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way.
19. Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients will be useful.
20. Comfortable working within time and cost budgets as agreed at project briefing meetings.
