Your Role Will Include:
Managing a diverse and complex caseload, with supervision and peer support.
Completing thorough assessments and designing personalised care plans.
Safeguarding vulnerable adults through risk assessment and intervention.
Communicating effectively in complex and high-risk situations, and modelling these skills for others.
Representing the service at multi-agency meetings and chairing where appropriate.
Supervising and mentoring social work students on placement.
Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with GDPR and confidentiality standards.
Providing leadership on professional practice, drawing from social work theory and evidence-based models.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. You will have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in statutory adult social care, with strong knowledge of key legislation such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act. You should have excellent assessment and communication skills, with a genuine commitment to delivering person-centred care and supporting people to lead fulfilling lives.
