Trainee Civil Engineer/Technical Co-Ordinator - Birmingham (able to travel) - Up to £28,000 plus package and paid training.\n\nTradeline are actively seeking a Trainee Engineer/Technical Co-Ordinator to join our clients fast-paced and growing Engineering/Technical team.\n\nOn offer is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a technical team as a Trainee Technical Co-ordinator/Engineer.\n\nYour role will be to assist the team to complete their duties whilst training to fulfil the role of an Engineer/Technical Co-Ordinator.\n\nOur client is an innovative and passionate business, who understands that the key to a successful business is successful people; therefore, we help them to recruit the best and offer and encourage development and training along with high rewards.\n\nKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities:\n\n * Understanding and learning processes & procedures within the Technical and engineering department.\n\n * Dealing with technical enquiries from QS/ Engineer/ Site.\n\n * Reviewing and logging CCTV Surveys & test results.\n\n * Reviewing drawing revisions\n\n * Registering drawing revisions and issuing to chase up to QS’s each Monday.\n\n * Obtaining information from CAD drawings to assist engineers\n\n * Creating road models in CAD & ICON office.\n\n * Volumetric analysis.\n\n * Administering site start information including site checks and chasing information.\n\n * Assist with departmental development.\n\n * Various Company Reports/ administration.\n\n * Personal on-going development.\n\n * Other duties as reasonably required from time to time.\n\nYou must be eligible to work in the UK with no Visa Sponsorship requirements.\n\nPerson specifications:\n\n * Good standard of GCSE’s and A Levels.\n\n * A desire to develop your career within Engineering.\n\n * Ideally a UK qualification within Engineering or a Technical construction discipline..\n\n * Full clean driving license and access to a car (claim travel expenses) as travel in between sites will be required.\n\n * Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.\n\n * Effective written and oral communication skills.\n\n * Analytical and practically minded.\n\n * Highly organised.\n\n * An interest in a long-term career within Construction.\n\n * Enthusiastic and passionate.\n\n * Flexible and resilient.\n\nAs well as an excellent career opportunity our client is willing to invest in your future and finance ongoing career professional development
