Job Summary
An inclusive primary school in Kingston is seeking a SENDCo to manage the provision for students with special educational needs (SEN). This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with SEN experience looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive and vibrant school environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage and develop the school’s SEN provision.
* Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure effective monitoring of student progress.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide tailored support for students with SEN.
* Help lead training sessions and workshops for staff on SEN best practices and strategies.
* Monitor the effectiveness of SEN interventions and suggest improvements as necessary.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* NASENCo qualification.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.
* A background in teaching or support roles, with a genuine passion for SEN education.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* A clear DBS check and the legal right to work in the UK.
