As a Site Engineer Apprentice, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission to create a state-of-the-art cancer centre. Join our dynamic team and make a difference!
The Site Engineer Apprentice will assist the Engineering team to continue to work cross functionally and proactively to ensure that the engineering requirements of the project are met, operating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes and gaining on-the-job experience whilst improving your knowledge.
This opportunity will provide a wealth of practical hands-on experience working alongside industry leading professionals and gaining a nationally recognised qualification

Key Responsibilities include:
* Understand project requirements and carry out tasks set by the supervisor/team manager.
* Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
* Shadow experienced staff members, ask questions and assist wherever possible.
* Conduct research and collating data.
* Work in a collaborative way with all other stakeholders on the project.
* Support with analysing data sets and drafting reports according to specifications.
* Assist with delivering presentations to staff members and other stakeholders when required.
* Assist with checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy.
* Assist with producing Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets.
* Assist with producing Inspection Test Plan (ITPs) and Task Briefings.
Essential criteria
* Right to work in the UK
* Minimum 4 GCSE’s at grades A – D, including Mathematics and English.
In addition to the above:
* Willing to learn, to be creative and to work on their own initiative.
* Familiar with Microsoft packages: Word, Excel and Power Point.
* Dependable and possess a positive attitude to work.
* Ability to communicate with a range of people both verbally and in writing.
* Eager to learn with a keen eye for detail especially in relation to numerical data.
* Good skills in prioritising and organising.
* Good time management and professionalism.
* Passion for self-learning and personal development.
* Knowledge of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
