We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Physiotherapist Occupational Health and Wellbeing. You will be working as an autonomous practitioner leading the musculoskeletal assessment and treatment Physiotherapy service for staff via the King's College Hospital Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service. You will also be experienced in working in a healthcare setting and enthusiastic about delivering a high-quality service.
Main duties of the job
To provide highly specialist physiotherapy fitness to work assessments, treatment interventions, and case management for your own caseload of occupational health patients with musculoskeletal conditions. To assess, treat, and manage your own complex caseload using specialist knowledge and skills as an autonomous practitioner, including the maintenance of comprehensive records. To provide specialist advice to physiotherapy colleagues and other members of the occupational health team regarding occupational health physiotherapy. The post holder will be embedded within the Occupational Health Department but will also actively link with the musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy service. To undertake a team leader role in managing, planning, and delivering the physiotherapy service within occupational health. To supervise, teach, and develop less experienced physiotherapists, student physiotherapists, and other members of the occupational health multidisciplinary team. Act as a senior member of the occupational health clinical team.

Job responsibilities
To work as an autonomous practitioner to support the musculoskeletal assessment and treatment Physiotherapy service for staff via the King's College Hospital Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service. To work as an effective member of the Occupational Health (OH) team, communicating appropriately with patients, managers, human resource advisors, and other team members as required. Take a supportive role in assisting the Senior Specialist Occupational Health Physiotherapist, supporting the daily running of the service and involvement in the development of the staff Physiotherapy service. To facilitate the early and safe return to work of staff on sickness absence through phased return to work programmes and adjustments. To provide evidence-based treatments and clinical intervention for a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal complaints. To teach and offer advice to colleagues and other members of the MDT regarding musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. The post holder will work within the Occupational Health Department at King's College Hospital and Orpington Hospital but may also be required to work on alternative sites (i.e., to complete work place assessments or cover other off-site clinics).

Essential
* To have a degree or other recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
* HPC Registered
* Wide-ranging post-graduate clinical experience and knowledge including neurology, orthopaedics, chronic pain, and rehabilitation
Knowledge and Experience

* Experience in working in a clinical setting.
* Awareness of Clinical Governance and its implications for the Physiotherapy service
* Understanding of current Occupational Health initiatives/issues
