We’re looking for someone to join our senior leadership team, reporting to the Director of Adult Social Services and Commissioning.
We are looking for an individual with extensive experience as a social work professional who can make a real difference in the lives of local people.
As a large, ambitious service with a focus on strengths-based practice, we aim to help people achieve their chosen outcomes, build resilience, maximise independence, and stay connected to their communities.
In this role, you will contribute to the achievement of the Council’s aims and objectives and secure continuous improvement in performance and standards that safeguards adults, their health, and wellbeing.
You’ll be responsible for implementing the Lets Talk Together practice approach working closely with the Principal Social Worker, driving improvements in practice, recognising the importance of prevention and early intervention, choice and control, and leading the service to deliver against the key objectives within the Living Better Lives Strategy.
