Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
1. Coordinate all technical and quality activities to ensure that products are manufactured against agreed specifications.
2. Maintain overall responsibility for the HACCP plan and Allergen risk assessments.
3. Maintain the position of HACCP Team Leader.
4. Carry out internal audits and maintain the overall internal audit schedule for the site.
Key Tasks & Results
1. Ensure strong working relationships with all retailers.
2. Drive the site preparation to ensure successful retail and 3rd party audits.
3. Lead all retail and 3rd party audits.
4. Delivery against agreed KPI's.
5. Contact with Government and non-Governmental organisational bodies.
6. Develop and support robust corrective action plans to ensure any consumer or customer dissatisfaction is addressed.
7. Communicate areas of non-conformance and corrective action plans following audits to their resolve.
8. HACCP Team leader for the business.
9. Ensure all raw material specifications are in place and reviewed in a timely fashion.
10. Ensure all suppliers are monitored and controlled alongside their risk assessments to ensure constant performance.
11. Manage all swabbing programmes, post clean, finished product and environmental.
12. Provide relevant reporting documentation, internally and externally, as required.
13. Accountable for the site maintenance of internal and external standards (BRC and retailer audits).
14. Responsible for ensuring compliance with group policies.
15. Manage the site Technical & Quality Team.
16. Ensure all finished product produced meet all its food safety and quality criteria and regulations.
17. Oversee site hygiene plans and ensure its effective monitoring.
18. Ensure continuous improvement.
