Working as a key member of the management team, you will line manage and develop non-clinical practice staff and be responsible for the production of performance and quality standards within the practice, delivered through QOF, Enhanced services and other incentives. Proven senior leadership experience, excellent communication skills, a high level of IT skills including GP IT, analytical skills and experience of working at a managerial level within a GP practice are all essential for this post. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Maintaining an oversight of NHS and CQC developments and legislative changes and advising GP Partners on their impact on thepractice - Attend partner meetings, prepare agendas and ensure distribution of minutes to the partners. - To ensure all actions from practice meetings are carried out - In conjunction with the Nurse Manager, manage the procurement of practice equipment, medical and non-medical supplies and services within budget -Oversee overall management of CQC compliance and records for inspections -Ensure effective internal and external communications across a range of media -Project manage new and developing service change within the practice and PCN - Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and ensure practice adherence - Ensure the practice complies with NHS contractual obligations in relation to patient care - Oversee continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
