Climate17 is helping a Hawaiian-based renewable energy developer and manufacturer find a Project Manager with an Engineering background.
With an entrepreneurial culture and exciting technology, this role would suit a person who has an electric, mechanical, or civil engineering background and an understanding of battery energy storage software, solar energy, or wider energy systems.
This role is located in Honolulu and is seeking a local candidate or someone US-based and willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with customers to manage projects.
* Work closely with the sales team.
* Evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, providing technical support to contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
* Manage the pipeline of project activity from prospect to installation.
* Analyze and determine the most efficient and cost-effective approach for projects.
* Conduct site visits to assess the performance of products and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Installation, commissioning, and testing.
* Prepare specifications, drawings, and calculations for projects.
Qualifications
* Engineering Degree.
* 3 years of Project Management, Project Engineering, or Sales Engineering experience.
* Knowledge of Solar, HVAC, Battery, or other renewable energy technologies.
* Driver’s license.
* Professional Engineer (PE) certification (Preferred).
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and commercial construction (Preferred).
