Main duties of the job The Senior Nurse Manager (SNM) has responsibility for the leadership and management of nursing across the Community Mental Health teams; this includes line management of the Matrons, and Clinical Leads. The SNM will support the Network Director of Nursing & Quality, and work with the Associate Director of Operations for Community Mental Health in all issues relating to nursing within the Community Mental Health services and is an integral part of the senior nurse structure.The SNM will establish and foster an effective working relationship with the Community Management team to lead improvements in nursing, service delivery and the achievement of organisational priorities.
