Deputy Manager Residential Children's Home (LD)
Salary: £34,500–£35,750 per year (includes 60 contracted sleep-ins annually)

The Role
As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth running of our home. You’ll help lead and inspire a team that’s dedicated to delivering high-quality, child-centred care, enabling our young people to achieve the best possible outcomes.
What You’ll Do
* Support the team in meeting the health, social, and educational needs of children.
* Implement safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Foster positive relationships with external partners and the local community.
* Oversee care plans, staff supervisions, and professional development.
* Manage daily operations, including staff rotas, recruitment, budgeting, and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
* Lead with enthusiasm and ensure a nurturing, stimulating environment for children and staff alike.
What We’re Looking For
* Passionate about working with children with learning disabilities.
* Experienced in residential childcare (at least two of the last five years in a relevant role).
* Qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Knowledgeable about Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted.
* Skilled in team management and able to communicate effectively.
* Flexible, with the ability to work shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
