Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate efficiently through urban environments. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and promptly to their desired destinations while maintaining a clean and well-organised vehicle.
Duties
• Drive passengers to various locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition, ensuring it is clean and well-presented at all times.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and local attractions as needed.
• Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or other items.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including pick-up and drop-off locations.
• Assist with any necessary paperwork related to the operation of the taxi service.
Skills
• Proven experience as a van driver or delivery driver is advantageous.
• Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with passengers.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while providing exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is preferred.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting when required, especially when assisting passengers with their belongings.

Candidates are expected to fund their own Drivers Badge from the council.

Pay: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
