Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending practices. You will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages while ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean and organised bar area will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
2. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
4. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, assisting with stock management as needed.
5. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
6. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
7. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and food safety practices.
3. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
4. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
5. A friendly and approachable demeanour with outstanding communication skills.
6. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
