ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Coordinator to join the team at UniLodge in Christchurch. The key responsibilities of this role are to effectively and efficiently carry out maintenance of the apartments, common areas and building exteriors.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week across a Monday to Sunday rotating roster and is a great opportunity to join our growing UniLodge portfolio.
More about the Role
* General property maintenance and repairs such as light bulb changes, minor plumbing, plastering, painting and carpentry.
* General investigative work to ascertain potential issues.
* Assist in the effective operations of the building and its compliance to HS&W requirements.
* Provide assistance in a professional and efficient manner to residents.
* Coordinating trade-related contractors as required.
* Ensure maintenance equipment is in perfect working order.
ABOUT YOU
* Experience with property maintenance and preventative maintenance programs in a residential environment or similar.
* Demonstrated experience in general property maintenance and repairs.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* You must be physically fit, have a get-up-and-go attitude and be someone who won’t stop until the job is completed in a safe and presentable manner.
* Ability to provide evidence of a New Zealand Police Vetting.
