We are looking to recruit a Helpdesk Apprentice who is a hardworking, organised individual with flexibility and a willingness to learn.
As a Helpdesk Apprentice, your main roles and responsibilities will include:
1. Becoming a valued part of the IT Support team
2. Learning how to provide technical support
3. Assisting in customer projects and support activities as skills allow
4. Gaining on-the-job experience and utilizing the skills you have gained over the duration of your apprenticeship
5. Helping the existing staff and the other sub-contractors partnered with us to deliver IT support services to clients
6. Learning how to handle telephone support calls as well as incoming helpdesk emails
7. Managing the helpdesk system, ensuring all calls are handled within appropriate timescales
8. Working on resolving first-line support where capable and collaborating with more experienced staff to help resolve more complex issues or referring to second/third line support staff where necessary
9. Updating company systems
You will be working towards an Information Communications Technician Level 3 Qualification over the course of 15 months.
