Who is Senior Aerospace Bird Bellows?
Based in Congleton, Cheshire, Senior Aerospace Bird Bellows was established in as a family run operation serving the petro-chemical and gas industries. Since then, we have evolved to become one of the industry leaders in the design, development and manufacture of pressure duct systems, flexible joints and insulation for highly regulated industries. We have established customers in aerospace (both civil and military), as well as in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Receipt of Goods in Deliveries, including the checking of paperwork, quantities and visual damage checks.
2. Recording of Goods receipt against Purchase order.
3. Set up, administer and control the company's vertical storage systems. Act as point of contract for associated, repair replace and investigation of storage systems.
4. Receive and extract stored product, using the vertical storage systems, ensuring product is correctly located and stock accuracy is maintained.
5. Safe transfer and control of Stock from sub-locations and delivery to operational lines including Kitting of Product to works orders.
6. Ensure product is stored securely and suitably protected from damage or deterioration.
7. Load and unload the vertical storage system using safe manual handing techniques.
8. Allocate and kit issue storage product, using the EFACS ERP System.
9. Through the process of Material Management ensure that product identification and batch traceability are maintained. Conduct perpetual stock counts as requested by Materials Control and Planning function. Conduct process of scrap control and disposition.
10. Resolve any stock discrepancies between physical counts and the system stock recorded on the EFACS and vertical storage systems software.
11. Ensure all storage and handling activities are conducted safely.
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
1. Experienced in working within a logistics facility
2. Experience of working with various IT systems for work loading and booking processes

3. Experienced in using logistics storage and material handling systems.
