IPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to work for our client based in West Sussex and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading on the development of business cases with Kinsted LLP – including funding implications for the client and understanding the implications of the land valuations.
* Leading and preparing on the business plan for Edes Estates.
* Providing support to the Directors of Edes Estates and ensuring timely reports to the Edes Estates Board on the performance and financial position of Kinsted LLP.
* Leading on the consolidation of subsidiary accounts into the accounts of WSCC.
* Being the point of contact for the accountants to Edes Estates.
* Leading on the development of accounting and tax practices for the Council in relation to transactions with Edes Estates and Kinsted LLP.
Requirements:
* Effective management, inter-personal and communication skills (including report-writing).
* Strong focus on continuous improvement and a commitment to delivering and ensuring value for money.
* Strong analytical, numeric and technical skills.
* Ability to make sound pragmatic problem-solving decisions.
* Sound partnership working skills including the successful co-ordination of partners to deliver objectives.
* CCAB qualified accountant with full current membership of the relevant accountancy body.
* Hands-on experience in managing and developing effective accounting, budgeting and financial management and control processes.
* Significant experience in advising on and providing guidance and quality assurance on all aspects of financial reporting, including consolidation of group accounts.
* Experience in advising on and contributing to decision-making for high-value transactions.
* Experience in supporting large projects, working with internal and external stakeholders and all levels of management.
Working hours: 09:00 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday) – Two days per week in Chichester.
