Supporting a busy Engineering Department by ensuring stock of critical parts is maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ordering and receipting of stock
* Manage stock levels ensuring critical spares are prioritised
* Ensure quality of components whilst striving to achieve cost reduction wherever possible
* Show a pro-active approach
* Be self-motivated and able to work to deadlines
* Be well organised and able to react to the needs of the business
* Maintain exceptional quality whilst carrying out all aspects of the job
* Be committed to continuous improvement
* Good communication skills
* Good knowledge of Microsoft systems such as Word and Excel
* Experience working in an engineering environment or some engineering acumen is desirable
20 hours per week, 4 hours a day, flexibility on start and finish time, preferably around 8am-12pm but alternative considered for right candidate.
