Job Description:
Purpose:
The main purpose of the role is to coach an age group with the Girls Youth Academy and implement the delivery of the Redprint coaching programme.
The Role:
The aim is to create a positive, friendly, safe, and open learning environment that:
1. Everyone wants to be part of.

3. Amplifies team effectiveness.
The coach must be available to work Monday and Wednesday evenings at Eccles Sixth Form College and at the weekend.
Key objectives are to:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver high quality technical sessions and practices.
2. Contribute to IDP process with detailed objective and subjective feedback.
3. Plan and prepare for each match with particular emphasis on the needs of individual players.
4. Always adhere to the Manchester United development & coaching ‘Redprint’ philosophy.
5. Engage fully in CPD events organised internally and externally.
6. Support player welfare.
7. Uphold the standards of sportsmanship, behaviour and playing style expected at Manchester United.
8. Contribute towards a positive working environment.
Ensure compliance with the company’s safeguarding policy.

Experience:
1. Of working in academy football (girls or boys) – Desirable.
2. Coaching and mentoring young players.
Skills:
1. Ability to motivate and inspire female footballers.
2. Deliver professional and high-quality sessions.
3. Delivering high quality coaching sessions to a range of age groups.
4. Ability to travel independently.
Qualifications:
1. Coaching Award (minimum level 2/UEFA C Licence).
2. Emergency First Aid in Football qualification.
3. Valid Safeguarding Children certificate.
4. FA Youth Modules (Desirable).
