The Practice Educator role is to enhance the quality of the learning environment by providing the educational input and development activities in support of registered nurses, clinical support workers and other learners.
In collaboration with the Education Team, Clinical Nurse Manager and Senior Charge Nurses, co-ordinate and facilitate the educational needs and resources available to the nursing team within the Paediatric Critical Care Unit in order to ensure that patients are cared for to the highest standard.
Achieve the specific administrative commitments of this role.
Motivate staff to provide high standards of clinical education by acting as a role model.
