We are seeking candidates for the role of Senior Lecturer in Nursing (Learning Disabilities Nursing) to contribute primarily to the provision of our pre-registration nurse education programmes. You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a registered nurse (Learning Disabilities Field) with a first degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. You will be expected to deliver innovative, high-quality teaching across a range of modules and provide support to students within clinical placement areas. You will also lead on service user and carer input into the programmes and support embedding of the Oliver McGowan training into our programmes. One of three faculties in the University, the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing has over 500 staff members and 11,000 students. The faculty comprises a wide and diverse range of subject areas, research and knowledge exchange activities, the School of Nursing being the largest of the School’s. The School of Nursing has over 140 staff and includes a wide range of professionally qualifying health care courses.
