Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader / Maintenance Team Leader (with an Electrical bias) to be a hands-on member of the engineering maintenance team, providing leadership and motivation. You will be responsible for identifying and prioritising pro-active and reactive maintenance tasks on a daily basis. This would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role where Mechanical & Electrical Engineers are managed (e.g. Engineering Supervisor / Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Engineer Leader / Engineering Manager / Engineering Shift Manager etc.). Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, days and nights on rotation, 12 hour shifts (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) Salary: £47,000 including shift allowance Main responsibilities: Leadership of multi-skilled Engineering team, including delegation of work, monitoring individuals, team performance, coaching and mentoring Engineers and Apprentices Drive daily performance and objectives Maintaining PPM adherence Maintaining monitoring systems Leading shift and departmental projects Completing personal objectives in line with business requirements Liaise with Engineering Manager regarding Continuous Improvement and long-term projects Provide hands on support for shift teams Requirements: Qualified in Engineering (NVQ Level 3 HNC / HND / similar), or Apprentice trained, with an Electrical bias.
