Your Role as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant:
🔹 Support students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.
🔹 Work 1:1 and in small groups to help students develop confidence and independence.
🔹 Assist teachers in delivering structured, engaging, and adaptive lessons.
🔹 Use psychology-based strategies to support students' emotional, social, and academic growth.
🔹 Monitor progress and contribute to individual learning plans.
🔹 Help create a positive and structured learning environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Psychology (or related) graduate with a strong interest in SEN and child development.
✅ A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✅ A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to education.
✅ Some experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
