Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately delivering end to end payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Payroll Processing - Manage and process the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current legislation within specified deadlines.
2. Process Court Orders.
3. Provide administration on the pension schemes and pension submissions.
4. Work on projects and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
5. Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests.
6. Prepare journals for finance along with any other information required to ensure accurate financial statements.
7. Submit ONS Surveys.
8. Work with Internal and External Auditors.
9. Complete year-end processes.
10. Administer Company Benefits.
11. Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
12. Maintain our Expenses platform.
13. Administer our ShareSave Scheme.
14. Create Purchase Order requests.
15. Administer our time and attendance systems.
16. Adhere to current GDPR laws.
17. Maintain payroll systems.
Experience
1. Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
2. Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
3. Proficiency in using payroll software.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
5. Ability to analyse data effectively and identify discrepancies.
6. Experience with statutory payments and pension scheme arrangements.
7. Data entry experience.
Pay range and compensation package:
1. Salary: £25,000 - £31,000 depending on experience.
2. Annual leave – 25 days plus bank holidays.
