We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to working as part of our neuro rehab team providing specialist stroke therapy to optimise quality of life.
We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist or occupational therapist with Stroke and/or Neuro experience to join the Stroke team. The role will be based on the stroke unit within Salisbury hospital assessing and managing a varied caseload including a range of neurological conditions within this specialised area.
Professional and specialist supervision is available from senior members of staff, and successful candidates will be working closely with all areas of the MDT.
Main duties of the job
Our ideal candidate will be confident with appropriate experience, clearly able to demonstrate a desire to actively participate in all aspects of the role. They must be willing and able to lead on various elements of the work in this exciting and demanding acute area of physiotherapy and occupational therapy. The successful candidate must be an effective team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. They will be able to demonstrate clear clinical reasoning and have the ability to explain their decisions and actions in a way that all concerned will be able to understand. They must also be able to demonstrate evidence of recent learning and examples of continued professional and clinical development.

* Minimum of 2 years experience post qualification
* Range of postgraduate experience across core areas in an acute setting
