Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
* Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for SEN students
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Support students with their learning activities and ensure their safety and well-being
* Work with small groups or individual students who require extra help
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Relevant experience working with children with SEN
* Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting or similar
Skills:
* Understanding of SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Work in a classroom environment, part-time hours, may involve working with students with challenging behaviour or medical needs across various year groups.
