We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate senior Clinical Psychologist to clinically lead the Paediatric Psychology Team for ABUHB Child and Family Psychology and Therapies Service. The team currently works into the paediatric teams for Diabetes, Weight Management, Recovery from Illness, ARVID, and general Paediatrics. There are proposals for development into Neonates and Epilepsy. As lead you would provide strategic vision and clinical leadership for the work of psychology into paediatric services.

wants to belong to working culture which cares for and supports practitioners and their development., The Consultant Clinical Practitioner Psychologist will be responsible for providing the clinical leadership for the Paediatric Psychology Team and the ongoing development of clinical practice within the team. Their role is to develop and maintain clinical practice within a constantly shifting and evolving clinical landscape.They will do this through providing line management, ongoing supervision, training, audit, and evaluation. They will be active in developing new psychology resources into other areas of paediatrics.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
