We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client's friendly and fast-paced team based in Lewes. This is a part-time role working 3 days per week, with the working hours of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. for the first few weeks of training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate ledger entries
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
* Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
* Assisting with payment runs and liaising with suppliers
Key Requirements:
* Experience in purchase ledger or a similar finance role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Confident user in Excel
