Support Officer
Salary: Thurrock Band C - Point 13 - 19
£7,898.02 - £9,053.29 actual salary per annum
12 hours per week
9:30am - 3:30pm Thursday & Friday
38 weeks per year - term time plus inset days
Start Date: 6th January 2025
We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Officer to join Bonnygate Primary School, a member of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated individual with school experience to provide effective administrative and clerical support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to the school, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
2. Administer personnel paperwork and act as the HR link for the school.
3. Serve as the Finance link for the school, liaising with the Trust Finance team.
4. Be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries and take messages where appropriate.
5. Complete weekly returns for school meals, free school meals, 'cool milk', and the fruit and vegetable calendar.
6. Assist in reporting student absences and school meals in the absence of colleagues.
7. Organise school trips and visits in liaison with staff, external companies, and parents.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous school admin experience.
2. HR or Finance experience.
3. GCSE Maths and English (grade 4-9 or equivalent).
