We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our service based in Witham on a permanent, part-time basis. The waking night shift is 10pm to 7am, 3 shifts per week on a rota basis which will include some weekends. This contract is for 27 hours per week.
What does a Waking Night Support Worker do?
Our team supports adults with learning disabilities to access the community, maintain their homes, and live a normal and active life. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated, and happy life. Night staff will be expected to complete personal care, regular checks throughout the night, and some housework duties.
What we're looking for:
* A genuine passion for supporting others.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
