We are partnering to appoint an experienced Management Accountant.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing monthly management accounts
2. Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and following up on issues
3. Managing cashflow
4. Maintaining the costing system on Sage
5. Handling both sales and purchase ledgers
6. Monitoring financial controls and implementing necessary changes
7. Reconciling inter-company accounts
8. Working with auditors at year-end
9. Supporting the Finance Manager, General Manager, and wider management team with accounts and reports
10. Collating, posting, and reconciling month-end stocks
11. Managing VAT submissions, Intrastat, TSS compliance, and other government returns
12. Processing payroll
13. Supporting the accounts team and assisting with ad hoc duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification as a Chartered Accountant
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Experience with Sage Line 200 (desirable)
* The ability to work under pressure
* Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
* Confidence to work independently as well as part of a team
* Outstanding communication skills
* Enthusiasm and self-motivation
