My client is a well-established, leading electrical installation systems specialist, they are looking for an Electricians to join their team on a permanent basis. The Electricians will be responsible for the installing, testing, and inspecting low voltage and extra low voltage electrical systems. The Electricians will also be responsible for ensuring that installations and testing are carried out in line with the design and relevant wiring regulations. The Electricians must be happy to travel across the UK and Europe when required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Heavy commercial / industrial / data centre electrical installation works
• Installation of galvanised containment / cable management systems
• Installation of Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage electrical systems
• Test and inspection of Electrical Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage installations.
• Ensuring installations and testing are carried out in line with the design and relevant wiring regulations.
Requirements:
• Installation of Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage electrical systems. (ECS Gold Card JIB Approved
Grade 18th Edition)
• Test and inspection of Electrical Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage installations. (must have C&G
2391 Test & Inspection or equivalent & approved)
• Ensuring installations and testing are carried out in line with the design and relevant wiring
regulations.
• NW UK based role with travel when required including Europe.
The basis of remuneration package are as follows:
• £20 per hour based on a 40-hour working week site hours £41,600 per annum
• Work outside of the Uk / British Isles is at 1.25 x all site times, travel is paid at normal rate.
• Overtime rate will be at the current rate at time, currently 1 x from 8-10 Hours, 1.25 X after 10
Hours Mon-Fri, 1.25 X Saturday, 1.5 X Sunday. Overtime is paid at the end of the following
month.
• A company van will be provided for business purposes from your start of employment and business mileage at £0.20 / mile.
